- How did you meet? Ryan and I met through a mutual friend at a BBQ/get together that our singles branch was having. Ryan had recently gotten home from his mission and our friend introduced us. However I do have to admit that I remember being introduced to Ryan, but I can't remember him...I have tried so hard to remember him standing there and what he was wearing, etc, but I can't. I know that is terrible... We started dating about a month later... he waited until the week before I was going to be moving to Utah to ask me out on our first date...needless to say I only lived in Utah for the summer that year and then moved back to Kansas.

- Where did you go on your 1st date? Ryan sent me flowers at work that had a compact mirror with them and the card read..."look in this mirror and see, just the person I would love to go out with me" . So we went out to dinner, go-kart driving and watching a movie that I fell asleep during. The next day I had to go to Derby, Kansas for a wedding reception and he offered to go with me. It was wonderful to spend the day together talking and getting to know each other.

- How long have you been together? Our first date was May 25, 2001 and we were married November 24, 2001 in the Winter Quarters Temple. So we have been together 7 years, married 6 1/2 years.

- Who eats more? It depends on what it is...Since I am home during the day I probably tend to snack a little more but during a meal like dinner he eats more.

- Who said I love you first? I honestly had to ask Ryan about this...he says that he said it first on the phone, but neither one of us can remember who said it in person first.

-Who is taller? Ryan

- Who sings better? Definitely Ryan, he was in different choirs in high school and even got to go to Disneyworld with his choir senior year... I wish I could get him back into the church choir...

- Who is smarter? I am more book smart, but Ryan is definitely more mechanically smart.

- Who does laundry? I do most of the laundry. Occasionally he will throw in a load and fold some. He says he doesn't like to fold laundry with me because I always tell him he is folding it wrong...

- Who does the dishes? Ryan will usually load the dishwasher and I will unload it. What did we do before we had a dishwasher...

-Who sleeps on the right side of bed? Looking at the bed, I do. Laying in bed, he does.

-Who pays the bills? Ryan and I work on the bills together.

-Who mows the lawn? When we have a house with a lawn Ryan will mow the lawn, since I have never mowed a lawn in my life...he says that he will teach though, we'll see...

- Who cooks dinner? I usually cook unless we are grilling, that is Ryan's department.

-Who drives when you are together? Usually Ryan, he thinks I drive like a grandma and that I sit to close to the steering wheel.

- Who is more stubborn? I tried to tell him he is but he didn't buy it. I have to admit I am a lot more stubborn than him.

-Who is the 1st to admit when they are wrong? I am most of the time

-Who kissed who first? Again I had to ask Ryan and both of us couldn't remember...

-Who proposed? Ryan did... July 29th, 2001 he was visiting me in Logan, Utah and we had gone to the temple to walk around the grounds. When we had made our way around the block he said... "since everyone thinks we are going to get married I got you a ring" it was a candy ring. We then walked across the street and sat on the park bench overlooking Cache Valley and he got out "the real ring" and asked me to marry him.

-Who is more sensitive? We are both pretty sensitive people.

- Who has more friends? I say Ryan does, and he says I do.

- Who has more siblings? Ryan-4, Tara-1

-Who wears the pants? He says I wear the pants... :-)
