We went some friends house on Friday evening and the kids were playing outside and Chase got bit by a mosquito. We didn't really think anything about it until he woke up from his nap on Saturday afternoon and his forehead and eye were swollen. Ryan took him to the ER that night to make sure it was just a mosquito bite and nothing worse. Thankfully that is all it was and were told to just watch it, give him some children's Benadryl and that it would take a couple of days for the swelling to go down.

I do have to apologize to my kids, they both have terrible reactions to bug bites (although this was Chase's first reaction to a bite) and that is my fault. I also get terrible reactions to bites. I had my eye swell shut when I was little and went home from girls camp one year because my ankles swelled up so badly from the bites I had gotten, just to name a couple of times that I have had a bad reaction to bug bites.

I have a picture of Dallin when he was about the same age. He got bit on his ear by some bug and his ear swelled up so big. It looked really strange and unreal.
Oh man! That is pretty scary stuff! I'm glad Chase is doing better though!! He has grwon so mcuh since the last time I saw him! I wanted to thank you so much for all the wonderful clothes you gave us for Carson! I really appreciate them! It is so nice of you to share them with us! Thanks!

He looks so cute!! that must have been a little scary but I am glad taht it is nothing more than a bug bite. I also love the cereal saga! Was Kylee into everything too? I find that Jake is definitely into things much more than Abbi ever was. I am convinced it is a boy thing!! I am also hoping the terrible 2's ends sometime in the near future.
