Slumber Party

We recently acquired a new bed for Kylee and set it up last week...the night we set it up Chase decided he wanted to sleep in Kylee's room...so they had a slumber party.



With the acquisition of Kylee's new bed we had an extra twin mattress which meant it was time for Chase to move into a new "big boy bed". We got the bed on clearance at RC Wiley's for $50 (how we got it home is a whole other story, because they don't deliver some clearance items). We thought it would be a good transition bed for Chase since it already had the rails on it (it is the upper half of a bunk bed). We have been looking for a mattress for a while so the bed was in pieces under our bed until we could find a new mattress. I have to admit I wasn't in a big hurry to move him out of his crib, because there is something nice in knowing he is contained while I am in shower in the morning...who knows what he could get into...but he is almost 3 so it was time to move to the "big boy bed". He has been sleeping in his "big boy bed" for almost a week and seems to be adjusting to it...as for me...lets just say my showers are very quick in the morning...up next...potty training...HELP!
