Prayers...

I usually have a very hard time asking for help but it is with a humble heart that I ask the few people who read this blog to please keep our family in your prayers...for those of you who do not know...Ryan lost his job on Monday due to the economic downturn we are all experiencing. His company laid off 14 people and he was one of them. It came as a quite a shock as we were unprepared for this and had no idea that this was in the works for his company.

I know that we prevail over this trial with our loving Heavenly Father's help and love, but it still is hard to remember that on a daily basis sometimes. I have my ups and downs about all of it every day, so if I seem teary eyed and upset you will know why...again I ask that you will pray for our family and the other 13 families that lost their jobs on Monday...

Thank you so much for all the love and support that we have already received...we will move forward and prevail...Thanks everyone, we love you all!

We will pray for you to get through this and to secure a new job soon. We were told about a month ago or so, that Kyle's company would be doing more cuts. We thought Kyle was safe because he didn't get layed off on the last two rounds and we were surprised that they are doing it yet again. It has been nice to have a bit of a warning... so that we could start saving. I'm so sorry that you had to experience it the way you did. That's got to be hard. We are scared about what the future brings, but like you said, with the Lord's help we can make it through this. It is a great time to evaluate all of our spending and think about what's really important.

I heard about your news today from my mom (aunt Janet). I am so sorry to hear. I know exactly how you feel. Tim got laid off almost 6 months ago. It has been tough, and it is hard not to get discouraged. Hang in there. Tim seems to handle it better than I do, at least it seems that way to me, and he tells me to just have faith and things will work out. We have survived 6 months with out his income, so I know that we are being taken care of. If we are doing what we are suppose to, we have been promised that the Lord will bless us. I see this every month as I pay our bills and mortgage. I wish you the best. By going through this trial I have learned what really matters in life, and what our priorities really are. Just don't let this pull you and Ryan apart, you need each other now more than ever. I wish you the best!

Tara, I am so sorry to hear of your hard times. We will remember you in our prayers. I know it's hard to remember at times, but the Lord has a plan for us all and it is always amazing the kind of blessings that come out of such trying circumstances. We will be thinking of you and will remember you in our prayers.
